Captain Jerryd Tassin was born and raised in Louisiana, and his connection to the outdoors runs deep. Growing up, he learned to fish and hunt from his father, spending countless hours exploring the bayous, rivers, and forests of central Louisiana. This lifelong immersion in the region’s natural habitats gave him an intimate knowledge of local waterways and wildlife. After serving in the military, Captain Jerryd chose to share his expertise and passion by founding Fowl Language Guide Service, guiding others through authentic Louisiana hunting and fishing experiences.

Captain Jerryd brings both experience and heart to every trip. His goal is to provide clients with a genuine Louisiana outdoor experience while teaching safe and effective hunting and fishing techniques.
